Why needs this software?
1) Install the same laptop
Every FVDI has one unique serial number. Software is made based on the serial number. For FVDI software with different serial number, software cannot be installed on the same laptop. If you have bought one FVDI, such as BMW FVDI, and want to add Ford FVDI software to your laptop, you only need to buy this software. When you place the order, please give us the serial number of your BMW FVDI, then we will make the FORD FVDI software based on your BMW, thus you can install this ford software to the laptop with BMW fvdi software installed.
2) Save money
For FVDI series, main unit and basic cables are the same, you do not need to buy again if you want to use them together in one laptop.
Attention: If you have bought FVDI series from our website, now want to add new software or update the software, our hardware is updated from November 2014. If your FVDI is bought after November 2014, then can directly add the software, if your hardware is the old version, then need to send the main unit back to us, we update the hardware, then add the software, send together to you.

Spacial cables (For Toyota, Peugeot Citroen, Ford, Mitsubishi, Fiat, Nissan, Opel, only have basic cables, for Renault, it has the special cable for Renault, if you buy this renault software, then we will add the special cables for Renault for you.)
What should you pay attention to when use 2015 FVDI:
1) Open the authorization:
a, before delivery, we will open the software authorization for your fvdi. When you get it, you need to update the lisence on your laptop.
b, Connect the dongle with your FVDI main unit first (do not connect the usb dongle with laptop, otherwise the Softdog green light or red light will on, and result in authorization fail),
c, Use USB cable to connect FVDI and the computer, but do not connect FVDI to the car. Wait until FVDI green light on and Softdog red light on, you succeed getting authorization. If FVDI red light on or Softdog green light on, repeat the above steps.
2) Car diagnose steps:
a> Connect the dongle to FVDI (Note: do not connect Softdog to the computer).
b> Use USB cable to connect FVDI and the computer. Wait until FVDI green light on and Softdog red light on, connect Softdog USB cable to the computer. During the procedure, the Softdog red light keeps on (Note: do not connect FVDI to the car)
c> Till the above 2 steps work well, connect FVDI to the car.
3) Software installation:
You need to install V6.3 and driver V2.08. If your CD do not have this two. Please contact us to download.
When you first time to update the license and open the authorized software for your FVDI, you need to connect the internet. After done, FVDI will not need internet anymore.

5) Laptop requirement
a, Laptop configuration:
CUP>1.8, RAM >2GB. XP system is the best. Better do not use it on WIN7 32bit.
b. Good internet.
If internet speed is too low or not stable, it will show "connecting to server ...... Failed" when you update the firmware or license. When you meet this, do not worry, change a good internet.
Shipping and delivery Attention:
Flat airmail: 7-18 working days on the way. For remote area or holiday, need more time.
DHL: For MOST non-free shipping goods, default shipping method is DHL. Need 3-5 working days on the way after dispatch the goods.
YANWEN Express: 7-14 working days on the way, no need to pay tax for most european counties.
EMS: 6-10 working days on the way. To Russian only send by EMS. For some remote area, if you do not want to pay remote fee, we can send it to you by EMS too.
Aramex: 4-6 working day. To most middle east counries. If you do not like this shipping method, please leave message on your order.
If you needs YANWEN express shipping or other shipping method like UPS, TNT, FedEx and so on, or you have special needs for your order, such as declared name and so on, please leave message on the order to notify us. Otherwise we will send the order as our usual practice.
As different country has different import policy, sometimes we will change the shipping method based on the counties and goods.
When you get the parcel, before sign for acceptance, please check the package to make sure the product is correct and no damage.
